In order to keep your homes as safe as possible, we are following the governments' recommendations and concetrating on areas like cleaning door handles and handrails. You can help us by taking these steps:

Wash your hands

The best way to protect yourself and others from coronovirus, as with any virus, is to practice good hygiene:

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze put used tissues in the bin straight away.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean

Keep your distance

  • Avoid sharing lifts
  • Use your elbow or cover your hand when pressing doorbells.
  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
  • If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • Do not meet others, even friends or family.

Stay healthy

  • Stay in touch with family and friends over the phone or on social media
  • Try to keep yourself busy – you could try activities like cooking, reading, online learning and watching films do light exercise at home, or outside once a day.
